Oregon Zoo identity

In an effort to enhance the existing text-based logo, a project was initiated to redesign the Oregon Zoo's identity. The rebranding focused on creating a logo to celebrate "Packy," the world-famous Asian elephant who put Portland on the map in 1962.
I created several illustrations of the elephant, and eventually, one image was selected for the final logo. Following the logo design, the new identity and its usage guidelines were implemented. Highlighting this renowned Asian elephant gave the Oregon Zoo a distinctive character and contributed to creating a family-friendly experience for the 1.6 million visitors who come each year.
